Last night at church was "Great Affliction Night" for the kids. I haven't quite figured out what the point was, but the kids had a great time dressing up. Caleb's class was not involved in it, but when he saw me putting the make-up on Kenzie he said, "I want to be a pirate too!". I thought that was pretty funny so I just HAD to add a little make-up to him too. Here is a picture of the Pirate and the Afflicted.

welcome! i like your blog name, i didn't recognize it on some of the comments left so i looked you up... and i thought, good for jessica!
as ordinary as our "stay at home" lives are, it's the routine of them that can make our entries most interesting. i am looking forward to visiting your blog often and getting to know you better.
So cute! :) Your kids are adorable. And you are quite the makeup artist!
That whole "afflicted" thing at church really freaked me out. I saw a little girl who had VERY convincing makeup and I was absolutely horrified. (I didn't know about the dress-up.) Of course her mom got a good laugh out of that. :)
After reading your blogs, I think I want to start one now. Something new, something different. Love ya! Cute pics of the kids.
